Our very popular Musical Theatre Classes follow the NATD syllabus, and focus on the three main ‘Triple Threat’ elements of Musical Theatre on stage (Drama, Speech and Movement) as well as broadening the knowledge and understanding of musicals both new and classic.
Whilst building on the techniques of movement, speech and song through the grades, students also work on learning routines from well known musicals.
Musical Theatre Classes also help to boost confidence, improve students performance and social skills and aid communication. We run classes across all levels and accept children as young as 4 years old.
The Junior level classes teaches the very basic of movement, speech and song, encouraging clear dialect and vocal projection, basic movement allows for the understanding of triple threat onstage. Classes are suitable for Students aged 4-7 and focus on the Preliminary and Lower Grades of the NATD syllabi.
The Pre Senior level is suitable for students age 8-12 years and focus on Grades 3 and 4 of the syllabi. Empowering more of the triple threat elements together, these classes focus on more cast style group work and a deepened development of vocal scales, plus the understanding of family and classic musicals.
