Adult Classes

Adult dance is on the up, and here at SSD we want to make classes accessible to all. Therefore we have a range of classes on offer for Adults and all at a competitive monthly price. 

Whilst being a great social place to meet people and get involved, recent studies have shown that dance is also highly beneficial to the adult body. Dance is a physical activity which can help to improve the cardiovascular system, aid balance and strength, and maintain both flexibility and mobility. Dance also benefits the mind by boosting the cognitive performance of the brain through repetition of movement.  

Our Adult classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, whether your new to dance or looking to brush up on previous knowledge we’ve got something for everyone.


Our Ballet classes have taken a short pause, but run on Monday evenings and are suitable for all ages and abilities. Classes take the form of a classic class featuring Barre, Adage and Allegro and short routines based on classic works.

Dance Fit

Our Dance Fit classes will be back to our Thursdays soon, with a brand new teacher and more funky fitness style routines to keep you moving and grooving. These classes are high energy and focus on working out through dance.


Our highly popular Adult Tap class runs on Tuesday evenings, and is suitable for all levels and abilities from beginners to improvers and the more advanced. The class incorporates basic tap steps and fun simple routines that will have you toe tapping everywhere.
