SSD Performers

Our performance team meet weekly to work on routines for Competition and local performances across the south. These classes are in addition to regular technique classes and the number of routines depends on the age and ability of the individual. Performers are selected yearly by invitation.

Festivals

The 2021/2022 team sees our dancers compete in Ballet, Character, Modern and Lyrical styles.

Recent festival success included picking up medals at the Solent Novice Festival (2020 & 2021), The Socially Distanced Festival Basingstoke (2020) and Weymouth Dance Festival (2021)

Performances

Alongside learning their festival routines, our dancers also work on 2-3 group routines each year to showcase at performances across the south.

Previous events have included;

Platinum Little Stars Charity Events – Breeze Academy of Dance Showcase – Curtain Raiser for Propbox Youth Theatre and Westfieled Productions Dance Showcase.
