At SSD we understand the importance of safe dance practice, our legal obligations as an educational establishment and pride ourselves in staying up to date with the latest training, qualifications and Insurances.

For your piece of mind all SSD staff are required to complete their Paediatric First Aid training and their Level 2 or 3 Safeguarding training (depending on position) every 3rd year. We ask all our Staff to complete an Autism Awareness course when they first join and advise them to keep this updated every 5th year. Our Teaching staff are also trained and qualified in their specific genres, and attend regular training courses to keep themselves up to date with the latest updates, syllabus changes and music and style trends.

To support our Teachers, Parents and Students we have set up the following general etiquette guidelines and hope that these will encourage a positive environment for all who come to SSD.
