Classes are designed for all levels from beginner to intermediate and for those aged 18 – 99, plus no experience is necessary.
Dance is not only fun and interactive but it is also a great source of wellbeing at any age. Because dance is exercise it naturally helps to strengthen your body, and aids your balance. Coordinating movements at speed help to boost your brain power and stretching at the end of a session will greatly help to maintain flexibility. Dance is also a great for helping to reduce stress and worries.
SSD are currently offering the following classes
Adult Dance Fit
Dance Fit is a high energy class. Starting with a workout style warm up, moving onto legs, bums and tums exercises. You’ll finish off your class working over the weeks on a fun routine before a gentle cool down and stretch. We dance to a range of different styles, chosen by you each week.
*This class has a short floor section – so feel free you bring a yoga mat for softness*
